Committee Application

Think you can help? Apply to be part of one of the ACSA committees today and join us in delivering great outcomes for our sport!

Successfully appointed Committee Members are appointed to their relevant committee for a term of 2 calendar years, after which a new application to the committee must be made. Any appointments made during the year will be backdated to the beginning of the calendar year they were appointed. As part of the application process, we ask that prospective nominees make themselves aware of the ACSA Constitution to understand the organisation better.

What positions are available?

We encourage everyone to apply who wishes to, as even if a committee is full, applicants may be notified of when a position does become vacant and to reapply by Chairs of each committee. ACSA currently have the following Committees that can be applied for:

  • Cheer Ability Dance Ability Committee
  • Education Committee
  • Medical Committee
  • Technical Committee

Who can nominate?

We are looking for anyone who has skills and personal attributes that would enable them to play an effective role contributing to ACSA via the relevant ACSA Committee. It is the responsibility of the Nominee to ensure that their nomination has been submitted correctly.

What happens next?

The relevant Chair of the committee applied for will be in touch with any nominated individuals to inform them if they have successfully been appointed to a Committee – usually via email.

Any enquiries about the Committee nomination and appointment process should be directed to the Executive Support and Member Services Coordinator by email to admin@australiancheersportalliance.com.au

Interested nominees are also encouraged to contact current ACSA Committee Members to discuss their experiences.

  • Please give details below of your skills & experience and tell us a little about why you want to be part of the committee (no more than 200 words).
